History

The company was founded in 2005 as M&E Cad Services. After progressing from 2D CAD drawings to 3-D virtual modelling, the operation re-branded itself in 2015 as BIMTech Engineering following its success at implementing Building Information Modelling, set to be the future standard of the construction sector. BIMTech’s growth has been very much dependent on attracting the most talented technicians, whose skills have kept the company at the very forefront of technological developments.

To embrace all emerging technologies for application in the built environment.

To provide a premium service linking concept and design to the needs of installers and operators to achieve construction-standard, co-ordinated information in compliance with Building Information Modelling protocols.

Management

The company’s daily operations are run by Matt McGuire, who has 20 years’ experience of producing MEP construction status information for a wide range of projects of various complexities.

With the change to BIMTech, Matt now has the support of business partners who have significant experience within the construction sector. This covers both operational and commercial aspects of the industry and compliments BIMTech as a business whilst at the same time providing organisation skills that give the company stability.
